Reaching Here

Dear Pastor and Church.

I would like to take just a moment and thank God for another day to serve Him. I don’t take lightly I get to serve the King of Kings every day. God has allowed us to stay busy in the harvest and we continue to see His hand of blessing in the mission works. Both North Haven and Rose Rock have families looking to join.

God has brought a seasoned man to Beth Haven who has started several churches and will be raising some support to get another work started as soon as he raises support. Bro Bill is not a spring chicken anymore, so we all thought it best for him to raise the support to start with. We will assist him when he starts but only in a limited way. We also have another family with a little experience praying about being apart of a new work. I ask you to pray for these two families that God will direct them in the path He wants them.

In the meantime, the wife and I are breaking ground in a new area and hope to stir up interest in a new work in an area close to downtown OKC. I have had a major burden for this area and was able to see a couple of folks make professions before Covid hit. We hope to get something started by early summer.

Please pray that God would open the doors for a good location to start. We will be prospecting for people first and would like to have a few home bible studies started but if we had a prospective location, it could help us prospect in the right area. I have an older church building in mind that is setting empty. It is owned by a local college and was used for their wrestling program, but it doesn’t seem like there has been anybody using it for some time now. I am trying to get a call back with some information but have not been able to talk to anybody yet. Your prayers would be appreciated.

Mrs. Carter and I are doing fine and are enjoying getting to serve the Lord together. Thank you for being apart of our ministry. Remember it’s a battlefield my friends.

For the souls of men,

The Carters Sr.
